The course
Eight jumps from strapped in to solo
Accelerated Freefall is how most skydivers in the world learn. You start with two instructors holding you through the exit and finish jumping entirely on your own, with a licence at the end of it.
The whole thing takes seven to ten days depending on weather, and you will need to be in Pokhara for that stretch. Most people do a tandem first to be sure they want it, and we take that cost off the course fee if you book within a month.
The syllabus
Level by level
Ground school
One full day on the ground. Theory, equipment, emergency procedures and landing patterns.
Levels 1 to 3
Two instructors holding you through the exit. Stability, altitude awareness and pulling on time.
Levels 4 to 6
One instructor. Turns, forward movement and your first unassisted exits from the aircraft.
Levels 7 to 8
Completely unassisted. Tracking, front and back loops, then your first genuine solo.
You need
- To be 18 or over
- Under 95 kg
- Reasonable general fitness
- Insurance covering skydiving training
- Around ten clear days in Pokhara
